Admissions: International StudentsYorkville College accepts applications for admission from international students. There are, however, certain documents required of international students prior to admission. All required documents should be sent to: Yorkville College

Documents may be sent by fax to: (416) 929-7277 Entrance Requirements :You are required to provide two pieces of identification, one of which must be a picture ID issued by a government source, such as a passport. All the textbooks are in english and the course lectures and discussions are conducted in English. If English is not your native language you will need to demonstrate proficiency in English by taking the TOEFL test and submitting your score to the College. Completion of Grade 12, or EquivalentYou must provide documents showing that you have completed at least grade 12, or whatever equivalent may be available in your country. You must be at least 18 years of age at the time you wish to begin your studies. An admission test is required. Medical insuranceCanada requires foreign students to provide their own medical insurance. Please arrange for three months of private medical insurance before you come to Canada. You can choose to apply for Government of Canada medical insurance once you arrive here, providing you meet eligibility requirements. Upon Acceptance into Yorkville College:Once you have submitted your completed application form and supporting documents, and if you are admitted to study, the College will send you a letter of acceptance. You must obtain permission to enter Canada as a student by taking your letter of acceptance to the Canadian consular office nearest you. It can take between 3 weeks and 6 months for the Canadian government to complete the processing of your application and grant you a visa to enter Canada as a student. The length of time it takes depends upon the workload in the office and whether or not you will need a medical examination. TuitionYou will have to pay your tuition in full prior to commencement of the chosen program. The tuition fee you pay is refundable, subject to provincial regulations. You will be responsible for your own living accommodations and living costs in Canada. The College is located in the heart of Toronto, Canada's largest city, so there are many possible living options. There are opportunities for single or shared accommodation or living with a Canadian family, which is a great cultural experience and gives you a lot of practice speaking English during your stay in Canada.
